Help & Guide
Everything you need to get set up and get the most out of EntrepreJee — from creating your account to every feature in the sidebar.
Getting started
Three steps and you're sending invoices.
- 1
Create your account
Go to Sign up, enter your email and choose a password. We'll email you a confirmation link — click it to activate your account.
- 2
Set up your business
After confirming your email, you'll land on the setup page. Enter your business name, country, VAT/business ID, preferred currency, and language — these appear on every invoice and quote you send.
- 3
You're in
You'll land on your Dashboard. The sidebar gives you access to every part of the app: Customers, Invoicing, Quotes, Work Orders, Products, Time Tracking, Projects, Expenses, Reports, Documents, and Settings.
Dashboard
Your home base. At a glance you'll see the state of your business, without jumping between modules to piece it together.
- Invoice overview — outstanding, overdue, and paid totals
- Revenue vs. expenses trend for the current period
- Upcoming invoices and due dates, so nothing slips through
- Active projects and recent time entries
- A live activity feed of what changed recently across the app
Customers
A simple address book of everyone you bill. Store contact details, billing address, and notes, then attach a customer to invoices, quotes, and work orders in a couple of clicks.
- Add, edit, search, and delete customers
- Attach a customer to any invoice, quote, or work order
- See a customer's invoice and quote history from their profile page
Products & Services
A catalog of everything you sell — physical products or billable services — with a default price and VAT rate, so building an invoice is picking items instead of retyping them.
- Add, edit, search, and delete products and services
- Set a default price and VAT rate per item
- Pull items straight into invoices, quotes, and work orders
Invoices
Create professional invoices, send them by email, and track their status from draft to paid. Every invoice can also be shared with your customer through a link that needs no account on their end.
- Build an invoice from your customers and products, or add one-off lines
- Send an invoice by email straight from the app
- Copy a shareable portal link so a customer can view it without logging in
- Pull billable time entries from Time Tracking directly onto an invoice
- View or download a PDF version
Quotes
Send a quote before the work is agreed. Once your customer accepts, convert it into an invoice in one click — no need to re-enter anything.
- Build a quote the same way you build an invoice
- Send by email or share a portal link for the customer to accept or decline
- Convert an accepted quote into an invoice in one click — line items and customer come along automatically
Work Orders
For businesses that schedule work before billing it: track a job from new to in progress to completed, optionally link it to a project, then turn it into an invoice once the work is done.
- Link a work order to a project to keep related work together
- Convert a completed work order straight into an invoice
Time Tracking
Log hours against a project or customer, either with a running timer or by entering time manually, then pull that time straight onto an invoice for billing.
- Start and stop a live timer, or log time manually for a specific day
- A weekly calendar view of everything you've logged
- Add tracked time directly to an invoice as billable line items
Projects
Group related work — tasks, time, documents, and activity — under one project, with a kanban board to track progress at a glance.
- Create a project and break it into tasks
- Track tasks on a kanban board or as a list, and see "My Tasks" across all projects
- A running activity feed of everything that happened on the project
- Link relevant documents to a project so paperwork stays with the work
Expenses
Record what your business spends, categorized for reporting, so your profit-and-loss and VAT numbers reflect the full picture — not just what you invoice out.
- Add, edit, search, and delete expenses
- Organize by category for cleaner reporting
Reports
See how the business is actually doing: profit & loss over a period, and a VAT summary you can hand straight to your accountant.
- Profit & loss for any period you pick
- VAT summary for your tax filing
- Export your VAT report as CSV
Documents
A place for the paperwork around your business — contracts, terms and conditions, everyday templates — organized by category, with starter templates you can fill in and export.
- Create a document from a starter template, or upload your own
- Rename, move between categories, archive, or delete
- Preview and export
Client Portal
Every invoice and quote can be shared as a private link your customer opens in their own browser — no account, login, or app download needed on their end.
- Copy a portal link from any invoice or quote's action menu
- Your customer sees a clean, read-only view of the invoice or quote
- Quotes can be accepted or declined right from the portal

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No — every plan starts free, and you only add payment details if and when you choose to switch to a paid plan.
What happens if I hit the Free plan's limits?
You'll be prompted to upgrade before the action that would exceed the limit — for example, sending a 3rd invoice in the same month. Nothing you've already created is deleted or hidden.
Can my customers use the app?
They don't need an account — send them a portal link from an invoice or quote and they can view it (and for quotes, accept or decline it) directly in their browser.
Can I invite other people to help run my business?
Yes, from Settings → Team, on the Pro plan.
How do I switch plans?
From Settings → Plan & billing, or the Pricing page — changes apply immediately.
Is my data private?
Yes — your data belongs to your business account and isn't visible to other businesses using EntrepreJee.
